How to Uninstall a Program in Windows Vista

1 click on the Windows Start Menu button
2 select Control Panel
3 select 'Control Panel Home' in the left-hand frame
4 under 'Programs' click on 'Uninstall a program'
5 scroll to the program you want to uninstall
6 double-click on the program to uninstall, you'll typically first receive a confirmation box
7 alternately you can click once on the program and then click the 'Uninstall' button
8 proceed through any dialog boxes which appear so to complete the uninstall

If in the Control Panel 'Classic View' you can double-click 'Programs and Features', then continue the proceedure at step 5 above.

Note also that some applications have additional options to 'change' or 'repair' the application.

You can view installed updates by clicking on 'View installed updates' in the left-hand frame of the 'Uninstall or change a program' dialog box
