Taskbar Links - a Desktop Customization new with Windows Vista
Lost in all the cool Aero graphics is a simple yet handy taskbar capability in Windows Vista. You can elect to have your Intenet Explorer 'Links' placed on the taskbar.
Thus, without opening Internet Explorer, you can click on the taskbar 'Links' toolbar to display a popup menu of your links, then click on a link to open directly in Internet Explorer. This capability was not available in Windows XP - many a user, in fact, has tried in vain to drag the Links folder to the taskbar, it doesn't work.
Here's how:
1 right-click on the Windows Start Menu button (at the bottom left of the desktop) 2 click 'Properties' 3 select the 'Toolbars' tab 4 place a check mark next to 'Links' 5 click Apply, OK
