How to Change Wallpaper in Windows Vista
1 right click on the desktop 2 click 'Personalize' 3 in the main window click 'Desktop Background' 4 click the 'Picture Location' drop-down menu to reveal picture locations 5 choose a location such as 'Sample Pictures' 6 click on a picture, it will be immediately displayed on your desktop 7 see the handy optional method noted below
Important: You may need to select one of the radio buttons at the bottom of the screen to change photo position, particularly important on widescreens so that the photo is stretched to fill the entire screen.
Handy: You can also drag and drop your own photos into one of the Picture Locations - you'll see in the drop-down menu a location called simply 'Pictures', this is a convenient location since you may then access your photos by the Start Menu item also labelled 'Pictures' - from there, right-click on a picture and select 'Set as Desktop Background'.
